Moo's Cafe
About This Spot
Step through the doors of Moo's Cafe, and you’re gently enveloped in the warmth of a close-knit community spot that feels both familiar and inviting. Nestled in Bristol’s 42 Gilda Parade, this unpretentious café hums with a quietly comforting rhythm—a place where the pace slows just enough to savor simple pleasures over a friendly chat.
The atmosphere here is thoughtfully alive without ever feeling rushed or loud. It’s the kind of space where friendly banter flows effortlessly between staff and regulars, the air filled with the rich, promising scent of fresh coffee mingling with the wholesome aroma of baked treats and sizzling breakfast staples. Families drop in, drawn by the small children’s corner and options catered for little appetites, weaving a genuine sense of everyday life and care into the room.
Moo's menu unfolds like a conversation with a well-loved neighbor—comforting and satisfying, yet full of thoughtful touches. Whether you find yourself tempted by a perfectly runny egg tucked into a bacon bap, a freshly toasted sandwich, or the gooey allure of a homemade brownie, each bite echoes the care poured into every dish. The cakes, in particular, provide a sweet pause—freshly baked and inviting, they are as much a part of the story here as the baristas crafting that ideal cup of tea or coffee.
What truly sets Moo’s apart is its warm-hearted spirit. This is a place where every visit feels personal, whether you’re stopping by for a quick coffee or lingering for a leisurely lunch. The staff’s genuine friendliness helps a busy morning feel a little lighter, a rainy afternoon a little cozier. It’s a café that knows its community well, embracing the ebb and flow of daily life with quiet joy and a welcoming smile.
For those exploring Bristol’s café scene with a desire to discover a space that is as much about connection as it is about good food, Moo’s Cafe offers an experience that feels simply right—a gentle corner of the city where simple things become memorable moments.

Pretty much the only cafe I will go to. Family orientated with the loveliest staff who do loads for the community. The food is fab and there’s so much choice from milkshakes to herbal tea. My favourite place for lunch! And the home made cakes are to die for

I was just passing , and thought I'd pop in . Very nice cafe, staff are friendly and helpful. Very clean and presentable establishment. I only had a bacon and egg sandwich, flapjack and hot chocolate. Sandwich was very good, nice bacon and a soft runny egg perfect. Good size slice of flapjack. And good hot chocolate. Would go back.

Omg what can I say the staff are friendly, happy, you can have a bit of banter which is good, very welcoming. I had a bacon, sausage, hashbrown and black pudding bap and it was the best I've had will definitely be going back again

Spotless cafe. Great atmosphere and service. Only popped in for a quick coffee but couldn’t resist the cake. Delicious! Rest room spotless and accessible. Great find. Breakfasts look great as well.

Great place for a cooked breakfast, lunch or coffee and cake. Friendly staff. Has a small children's corner and does children's lunch boxes.

Had a lovely breakfast with 2 friends. Good choice of breakfast with a skinny option too. Staff were very nice & helpful. It did get quite busy though so a couple of extra tables would have been handy although I know the space was limited. Would still recommend though and the cakes looked delicious
